Posts are how you communicate with customers on FourTwenty. A post can be published at the brand level (applies to your entire brand) or the location level (specific to one location). Location-level posts appear on that location's page and can trigger emails to its followers.
Why Posts Matter
Posts keep your location active and visible. Your most recent post shows on your dispensary card on the homepage, which is the first thing customers see when browsing. A location with a fresh post stands out compared to one with no recent activity. The "Freshest" default sort on the homepage means recently active locations appear first.
Two Types of Posts
- Announcement (default) — General news, updates, or anything you want to share
- Drop — Same functionality as an announcement, but labeled as a product drop to signal a new arrival
Where Posts Appear
- Homepage dispensary card — Your latest post summary with emoji
- Location About tab — Most recent post featured
- Location Posts tab — All posts listed
- Each post has its own shareable URL with social preview
Posts and Followers
When you publish a post, you can choose to email all followers of that location. Followers receive a notification with the post title and a link to view the full post. Every email includes an unfollow link.
