A follower is a customer who clicked "Follow" on your location page. When they do, they're opting in to receive email notifications from that specific location whenever you publish a deal, post, or product drop. Followers are location-specific — a customer follows a location, not your brand.
Why Followers Matter
Followers are your most valuable audience on FourTwenty. Unlike customers who browse the homepage and might or might not click on your card, followers have explicitly said "I want to hear from this location." Every deal and post you publish can land directly in their inbox.
The Value Loop
- A customer discovers your location (via search, map, or a shared link)
- They click "Follow" on your location page
- You publish a deal or post and toggle "Email Followers"
- They receive an email with your content and a link back to your location
- They visit, browse, and potentially place an order
What Followers Receive
| Content Type | Email Subject |
|---|---|
| Deal | New deal from your location |
| Product Drop | New drop from your location |
| Announcement | New post from your location |
Every notification includes an unfollow link so customers can opt out at any time.
