Getting Started

Recommended Setup Order

The best sequence for setting up your brand from scratch on FourTwenty.

If you're starting from scratch, follow this order for the smoothest setup experience. Each step builds on the previous one.

  1. Brand Profile — Upload your logo, cover image, and write your About section. This is your identity across the platform.
  2. Categories — Create product categories (Flower, Edibles, Concentrates, etc.). These need to exist before you add products.
  3. Product Catalog — Add your products manually or import from another platform. This is your brand-wide master list.
  4. Location Settings — Set your address, hours, fulfillment options, and contact info for each location.
  5. Location Menu — Add catalog products to your location's menu with location-specific pricing and stock levels.
  6. First Deal — Create a welcome promotion to attract customers to your location.
  7. First Post — Publish an announcement that you're on FourTwenty. Followers will be emailed.

Categories need to exist before you add products, and products need to exist in your catalog before you can add them to a location's menu.
